DESCRIPTION:Thank you to all of our VIP Members who have and continue to serve our Country!!! \nVeterans Day is a U.S. legal holiday dedicated to American veterans of all wars. In 1918\, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month\, an armistice\, or temporary cessation of hostilities\, was declared between the Allied nations and Germany in World War I\, then known as “the Great War.” Commemorated in many countries as Armistice Day the following year\, November 11th became a federal holiday in the United States in 1938. In the aftermath of World War II and the Korean War\, Armistice Day became legally known as Veterans Day. \nNovember 11th is the one day set aside each year to honor those who have served and continue to serve our nation. Not to be confused with Memorial Day\, the day we pay tribute to fallen service members\, Veterans Day offers a great opportunity to teach civilians about the sacrifice service members and their families make year-round. \nOne way to celebrate Veterans Day is when you see someone in uniform\, extend a simple word of gratitude or small act of kindness to show how much their service means to you. \nHave a Great Holiday! \n
