DESCRIPTION:ARMED FORCES DAY — \nArmed Forces Day is celebrated on the third Saturday in May.   Thanks to President Harry S. Truman\, it’s a day to pay special tribute to the men and women of the Armed Forces. President Truman led the effort to establish a holiday in order for citizens to unite and to honor our military heroes for their patriotic service in support of the United States of America. \nLet’s all take time to celebrate this special day by wearing red\, white and blue; flying the American Flag\, talking with or writing to a military member\, donating to military-based organizations\, or sending care packages for those serving overseas. \nA special THANK YOU to all of our Members who have served in support of our Country!

SUMMARY:ADIRONDACK CORVETTE CLUB'S POKER RUN
DESCRIPTION:Adirondack Corvette Club is hosting their 6th Annual Poker Run which will take place on Saturday May 19th (Rain date Sunday May 20th) starting at Prestige Motor Car Company\, 1926 US Route 9\, Clifton Park at 10:00AM.  This will be a traditional Poker Run like we have had the past 5 years where we drive to various businesses\, collect a poker card there and make the best poker hand we can to win cash prizes. The Poker Run ends at Andy’s Adirondack Grille\, Route 9\, in Malta. \nRegistration will be $20 and you can get an Extra Hand for the copilot for $15. There will be trophies & cash prizes for the Best “Hands”\, plus drawings for 50/50 and Raffle Items at Andy’s. \nIf you have any questions regarding our Poker Run call Bill Jeffery at 518-677-5203. \n  \n
